Last night went to a private Catholic School’s basketball game (Summit School, Cottonwood Id.) to watch some of the families kids play. I met Nick and his wife Molly. Nick knew everything about the situation of the Church, Government and Masonic influence through out history. It is always a great joy to talk with a well educated person on these of most importance realities. We discussed the changes in the Church and the answer to these problems. Again it needs to be stated that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Latin is so powerful against the devil. If everyone would come together in one language, the Church would once again become united again against the evil. The devils objective is to divide and destroy. The masons and progressives are the instruments of this division.
Today I met another family who came for the 7 AM Holy Latin Mass. It is difficult to get up a 5 AM and drive 35 minutes to say the Holy Latin Mass. I have two brothers, Andrew and Matthew, who faithfully setting up and serving. Again this morning there were young families with children (some kids make a lot of noise) and other adults. Right afterwards, the Novus Ordo people start arriving for morning prayer. A few very old people. What does that say. As, at my prior parish of St. Patricks, Ripon Ca, when I celebrated the Novus Ordo daily mass, there would be a dozen old ladies and a rare young person. Once I started celebrating the Holy Latin Mass, we had 30 to 50 people daily and they were young adults and families along with a few old people. What does that say about the future? My bishop and priest said that is was terrible that I was subjecting people to having the only option of the Holy Mass in Latin. I had to expand the parking lot to accommodate all the people to 20 more parking spaces.
Called the Carmelite Monastery in Cody Wyoming. They do not have facilities for priest guest. So on Sunday I have decide to go instead to Wyoming College in Lander Wy. The Yates family live there and I will visit with a Philosophy teacher Peter (I do not remember his last name). He is interested to encourage me in my mission. Then I plan to go to Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary (Fraternity of St. Peter) in Nebraska. Then hopefully to Detroit to get to know Michael Voris and Fr. Paul Nicholson.
Today after the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass I have done simple work helping my friends whom I am visiting continue their unpacking. I feel strange not doing more priestly work, but offering this up is very redemptive. I don’t necessarily like work, so it makes it more of a Advent sacrifice. Remember that Advent always was a penitential time. Of course I do not like penance. So we can support each other to prepare for the Birth of Jesus by small disciplines.
Every morning at 7 AM, I am celebrating the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at St Peter and Paul in Grangeville Idaho. Thank God and Mary that the pastor is kind enough to let me say the Holy Mass in his church. Around 50 people attended yesterday and today around 30. There is a lot of division here between the Latin Mass community and the Society of Pius X.
I am still looking for a ride to Wyoming and also looking at some cars to buy and drive. As I work on my missionary work of spreading news and support for the Holy Mass, I know it will be very difficult to get permission to say the Holy Mass because the pastors ask for a letter from my bishop to his bishop. That will take a great deal of time and planning ahead. Right now I have a the letter from my bishop to St. Patricks saying I am in good standing with the diocese. So the liberal bishops and pastors can stop you from saying the Holy Mass by these requirements. But God will help as He did here and I may just have to say a private Holy Mass on my own in the places I stay. I am very hopeful that all things will go well and not without some difficulties of course. Today the feast of St. Francis Xavier, we are reminded how important missionary work is. St Francis Xavier, pray for my work and all who are sharing the Gospel and the whole Catholic faith. Amen.
Yesterday flew from Sacramento to Lewiston Idaho. Then off to Cottonwood Idaho. Today, Sunday, I said the Holy Latin Mass in Grangeville Idaho. Here are some of the kids who attended. We had lunch together with these home schooling families and discussed the struggle to get the Holy Latin Mass in this area. The bishop says that because there is such a need just for the english Mass that they can not have the Holy Latin Mass. My God; how sad that there are so many people desiring the Holy Latin Mass and no where to go other than 3 hours away. Let us pray and write to Ecclesia Dei, the Papal Nuncio in Washington D.C. and our bishops on a constant basis. But above all, PRAY PRAY PRAY.
I will next go to Wyoming College in Lander Wyoming to visit the college and old friends. I still need to find a ride there. Have to have faith in God and Mary to get me together with who ever they want me to connect with. Hopefully my friend Jesus will meet me in Wyoming and go from there to the Carmelite Monastery in Cody Wy.
