We are not alone in feeling great sadness and in some cases righteous anger at the compromising of simple decent morals in the Church, in “Catholic” institutions and the world. God, Mary, the Angels and saints blush at what they have to see happening to Jesus’ Church and in the world.
The tendency is to despair, to get depressed and to give up. But that is wrong. God and Mary see every detail of what is happening right today and God will have the last say. God sees us get in trouble for speaking Catholic truth. God sees us get in trouble for trying to stop the sacrilegious things being done to the Holy Eucharist. God sees us get in trouble for trying to stand up for sacred Masses. God sees us get in trouble for condemning immoral dressing of women. What the muslims are doing.
God notices every tiny thing that happens to us. Eventually He will justly punish those who have supported evil immoral behavior and destroyed the sacred liturgy. It will probably not be until they have died.
Over and over again I lovingly tell women that dressing in short shorts, short dresses and tight pants offends God. They do not care. They go right on doing it.
Eventually, they will pay for offending God and making life miserable for me for having lovingly told them it was wrong. It is like the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
And the rich man also died: and he was buried in hell. And lifting up his eyes when he was in torments, he saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom: And he cried, and said: Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, to cool my tongue: for I am tormented in this flame. And Abraham said to him: Son, remember that thou didst receive good things in thy lifetime, and likewise Lazareth evil things, but now he is comforted; and thou art tormented.
And besides all this, between us and you, there is fixed a great chaos: so that they who would pass from hence to you, cannot, nor from thence come hither. And he said: Then, father, I beseech thee, that thou wouldst send him to my father’ s house, for I have five brethren, That he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torments. And Abraham said to him: They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. But he said: No, father Abraham: but if one went to them from the dead, they will do penance. Luke 16:22b-30
Jesus has risen from the dead and most Catholics still do not obey the teachings of His Church. I tell people over and over again and they stay stubborn and make me into the bad person for telling them the truth and get me in trouble. But God sees, Mary sees, what each one of you are going through, especially priests, for merely stating Catholic truth.
This weekend at the Novus Ordo Mass, (I agree, and do not want to say this mass either, but have no other choice right now and I do the mass ad orientam, and only use roman Canon I in silence and in Latin), I spoke about the 10 Commandments. I said; ‘Please do not get mad at me for telling you these 10 Commandments. They are not mine. They are God’s. Do not shoot the messenger. I am nothing more than God’s messenger. I have to tell you the truth whether or not I like it or you like it.’
It is so good being a traditional Catholic and not to have to worry too much about the horrible surprise that most Catholics and people will be greeted with after their short life.
