To not get discouraged and to not give up, we traditional Catholics need to stay focused on our Faith in God The Father, His Beloved Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Let us repeat over and over all day long Psalm 123:8
“Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and Earth.
“Adjutorium nostrum in nomine Domini
Qui fecit cealum et terram.”
God continues to manifest His power and loving care throughout the centuries. We know very well that the devil, his angeles, most people in the Church and in the world are against what Jesus taught and that He entrusted to His Catholic Church. We have been given the mission to protect and preach Catholic doctrine till His second coming, no matter the cost.
Let us be logical. This has been the problem from the very beginning and up till today. Different people teaching heresies from inside the Church and different people attacking from outside the Church. But Jesus promised us that the Gates of Hell shall NOT prevail.
So with joy we proclaim the Catholic truth. With joy we live the Catholic truth. And with joy we offer up the persecution and suffering we receive as we stand up for Jesus and His truths. We do this even when our hearts are weighed down with sadness of what we see in the Church and in the world. Sadness must be overcome with faith and joy.
As Mary told St. Bernadette at Lourdes; “I can not promise you happiness in this life, but in the life to come.” We suffer here for a while and rejoice there forever. The persecutors and destroyers of true Catholic faith enjoy here for a while and suffer hereafter forever.
We are just so blessed to be traditional Catholics. Let’s get up and dust off our fears and sadness and get marching.
