When the small traditional Catholic Fisher More college brings a controversial speaker to its campus like Fr. Gruner and question parts of Vatican II, they are punished by their bishop and not allowed to have the Holy Latin Mass on their campus.
At the same time, through out the United States and the world, there are so many so called “Catholic” colleges and universities that are going against what the Catholic Church teaches. Many of them completely disagreement with Church’s teaching on homosexuality, abortion and birth control. They invite Drag Shows, “The Vigina Monologues” and pro abortion/homosexual marriage speakers to their graduation commencements.
I studied philosophy for one year at the Jesuit University of Santa Clara in Santa Clara California. They are one of the “Gay Friendly” Universities. Here is a list of “Catholic Colleges and Universities that are homosexual friendly. I am sorry to have to put this list here, but it is important to see how many and how far our supposedly “Catholic Colleges and Universities” have gone against the Bible and the 2000 year tradition of Jesus’ Catholic Church.

Just last December, Santa Clara University’s faculty senate also voted to over turn the Jesuit school’s president, Rev. Michael Enge decision to not provide health care for abortion. God bless him. When doing so, the staff quoited Pope Francis:
“Professor Nancy C. Unger was a leader in the movement to undo the university head’s abortion coverage removal. She previously expressed her criticism on several grounds that ranged from the widely-accepted to the extreme, including that a unilateral decision goes against best higher education practices, that it is inappropriate given the language of Pope Francis, that employer-funded abortion is an essential component of religious freedom, and that a man should not make decisions on behalf of women:
Thus, many are surprised that the president made his decision so soon after Pope Francis, himself a Jesuit, criticized the Church for its “obsession” with abortion and called for a “clear sense of priority: healing wounds and warming hearts.”” California Catholic Daily
Please bishops stop this corruption of our young Catholics minds and souls rather than picking on a small good Catholic college. We need more traditional Catholic Colleges that will help the youth to be 100% Catholic.
It seems that the bishops do nothing against the thousands of Catholic schools that promote evil liberal and progressive morals all over the world. Interestingly enough, these schools are also going against what is contained in the Vatican II’s documents, way more and far beyond. But then when a few small traditional Catholic schools happens to question Vatican II or is in favor of the Latin Mass, then they need to be disciplined right away by the bishop. It seems that we have it totally backwards.
Fisher More College is a sign of hope for us who have studied at dissenting Catholic Universities. We need more truly traditional Catholic colleges. We pray for them and their bishop. We also pray for the conversion of all the Catholic schools, grammar, high school and colleges to repent and be faithful to Jesus and what He taught. It is so wonderful to be a traditional Catholic.
