Last week, in French Camp California, friends of mine had an armed black man busted down their door and hold the older son at gun point. The man had a hood on and demanded cash and things of value. The dad was upstairs, and thank God, had a gun. He came down and shot the man to save his sons life. The man was wearing a bullet proof vest and was stunned, but not hurt. He ran away as the chased him. This family had just been burglarized a month before in the same house. Now they are selling the house, because the children are traumatized from the two crime events.
I bring this up because as the world gets further and further away from God’s rules, we will see more and more crime and children who are traumatized. I say this, because the bleeding heart liberals in the church forget about the suffering of children from divorce, drugs, alcohol and crime.
How can letting people sin help the situation get better for these children and their families? Should we, in love, accept this man in his immoral behavior of going around shooting and robbing people. We could say; “he should be accepted and that life style is what he has chosen”.
People will say that they only accept divorce remarried people and homosexuals because they are consenting adults who are not hurting anyone like the robber. No, all sin hurts some one and offends God greatly.
The popular “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robert said something about homosexuality and again the media world is all against him for saying what the Bible states.
“I myself am a product of the 60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior,” he said in a statement sent to FOX411. “My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together. However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.” FoxNews
Progressive Catholics acceptance of sin, divorce, birth control, abortion and homosexuality leads to the breaking down of all morals. Sin is sin. God put the 10 Commandments together as a package for our good. They are Commandments of love from God for our safety and the good of children.
The protestant churches are dwindling in numbers precisely because they left the Catholic Church and watered down what it meant to be a Christian. Why do the progressive Catholics think now that accepting sin will keep people Catholic coming to church? The absolute opposite always happens.
The black man who traumatized my friends was probably a christian at one time or at least, I would bet on it, had a christian parent. What went wrong? Who did not help him to live a life according to the Bible?
The Pew Research Center reported that only 54% of Americans will go to some religious service this Christmas. Out of this same group surveyed, 69% had gone to services when they were children. Why are the numbers going down? Is it because we talk too much about sin? I do not think so. I think it is because we do not preach the truth about God and His Catholic Church including love (Heaven) and justice (Hell).
This story about my friends who were save by the dad using his gun to protect his family, shows why we need to be armed. The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution allows Americans to keep and bear arms who are not in the military. Most people do not know this and the government is using all the shootings to take away this constitutional right we have as Americans to protect ourselves. Criminals will always find a way to get guns. We need guns to protect ourselves from them.
So we are happy to be in love with God and His morals. It is He who will protect us against all the immoral people.
We are happy to suffer in the Church to say Jesus’ truth even when we are hated and persecuted for it. The children who suffer, because of the breakdown of morals, need us. They will thank us when they get older and realize what we did to keep them in a holy and safe world.
But a billion times more, God appreciates all we suffer to keep His Commandments known and obeyed. He will reward us forever in Heaven.
