My friend is a pharmacist for Kaiser Permanente and works sometimes in Manteca California. A few days ago they changed the dress code. All women employees must have skirts below the knee. They also may not wear tight elastic pants.
So here is a secular institution who imposes modesty, without women leaving their jobs. They want to earn a salary. They are not getting angry because they respect the god of money.
Now why cannot Catholic women respect Our Good God who died for us and gives us life? Why do priests and bishops not have dress codes for the love of God and to have clothing in church that will not lead men into sin?
Let us pray that the secular world will have a tiny impact on the Catholic world.
