As usual up early for the feastday of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We had the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for Our dear Mother. I had invited some Mexicans to come and they did. In Wyoming there are very few Mexicans. Yesterday I discovered this statue on the hill behind the parish where I have been saying the Holy Latin Mass. So this morning when it was still very dark, I prayed here with the Mexican Jesus Sandoval asking Our Lady’s help. After mass the Mexicans with Jesus put roses by this statue. I didn’t go because I was in a big rush to get going to Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Denton Nebraska.
We have arrived and been very very warmly welcomed. Joe O’brian from St Patricks has a brother here (Tim O’brian). Also three young men from Cottonwood Idaho where I was for the last week are here too. They all helped Jesus and myself to unload all the baggage. Traveling with all the Latin Mass Vestments and the books and electronic devises makes up a lot of baggage. I am still learning to be a missionary. The 11 hour trip was not easy to make. But I am learning to travel for Love Of Jesus and His Holy Mass.
Tracy and Annette Yates and their kids were so hospitable to us in there house. They made up good granola bars for the trip. It was such a joy to be in their house. When you are traveling as a missionary, you so appreciate when you have a loving home to be welcomed into. And that is exactly how the Yates treated us. May God bless all the wonderful people who are taking care of us.
